<P>If you are presently running Linux, place your 2 formatted floppies
in your floppy drive and issue the commands:</P>
<ul>
<PRE>dd if=@IMG_NAME@ of=/dev/fd0 bs=1440k</PRE>
<PRE>dd if=drvnet.img of=/dev/fd0 bs=1440k</PRE>
</ul>
<P>If you are presently running a MicroSoft OS, you can download
the <A HREF="http://COE_WAYSTATION/LinuxCOE/downloads/rawrite.exe">
rawrite</A> program. After getting the rawrite.exe executable, issue:</P>

<PRE>rawrite -f @IMG_NAME@ -d A: </PRE>
<PRE>rawrite -f drvnet.img -d A: </PRE>
</ul>

Once the physical floppies are created, insert the boot floppy in your target
system and boot from the appropriate drive. You will be greeted with the
LinuxCOE installation screen, at the bottom of the screen you'll be provided
with a "boot:" prompt. Type "install" to automatically install the system per
your design.

<P>You will be prompted for the driver disk (drvnet.img), insert it, and
select 'Use a Driver Disk'.</P>

<H3>Optional Driver Disks</H3>
If you have older/depecated or odd network hardware, you may need a driver disk.
The most common symptom is the install stops almost immediately after
starting and prompts you for "Language/keyboard/mouse".
<P>
<b>Note:</b> This also occurs if you selected DHCP but couldn't reach a
DHCP server.
</P>

Create a second floppy (just like the one above) but use the following
image(s):

If you have a laptop, or VERY old hardware, you may need one of these instead:
